The application repository owns the benchmark procedure and evidence policy. This page gives you the shortest path to those sources.

1. Open the canonical procedure

Read the benchmark procedure before you run a benchmark. It defines the timer boundaries, source-state rules, sample handling, sanitization, cost controls, cleanup checks, and publication gate.

2. Select the evidence class

Use the benchmark data policy to select an artifact type and storage location. Keep raw output in the ignored benchmark-results/ directory. Promote only the sanitized artifact that the procedure permits.

3. Run the benchmark

Use the command for your measurement question. The run benchmarks page lists the current commands. Record the exact source and harness revisions. Do not cite a branch name as evidence.

4. Verify the result

Run the focused evidence tests.
Run the full repository gate before you publish a report.
The July 30 report shows how a report binds its source revisions and input artifacts.

5. Cite tracked evidence

Link each claim to the exact application commit that contains its report or artifact. State any limit that prevents independent recalculation.
The documentation site explains how to find and read the evidence. The application repository remains the only source for benchmark rules, reports, and artifacts.
